Default Partitions and Aggregation Processing - 11-11-2004 , 10:10 AM

I know that when MSAS process aggregations it clears out
all cells that are non-leaf level and then aggregates
accordingly. If I have a time base partition where I
have partitions as follows YR2003NOV, YR2003DEC...,
YR2004NOV. In this scenerio, when AS process
aggregations and current period is Nov2004 will AS clear
all the aggregate values of the other partions?

Dave,
Each partition stores only the aggregations for their own data, not
aggregations of cell data in other partitions. In other words, no.
