Default Partition aggregation utility - 11-05-2005 , 12:48 PM

Hi

I have a cube where I would like aggregation to be calculated at lowest
level of 1 hierachical dimension.

I've tried forcing this with the agg utility but I'm not sure if I've done
it wright. Is it true that in AS terms this only corresponds to 1
aggregation ? Meaning the one at bottom level ?

Have I then chosen all combinations at this level with the levels above ?

In a thick client I get a respons in a couble of minutes but in a thinn
client it takes about 10 minutes.

But the processing it stills way to fast - takes a few seconds to process so
I would like to put more pressure on that part in order to get results
quicker.

If processing takes that fast, you probably having a small cube.

Try design higher percentage of aggregations 80% - 90%.
