I want to work with Analysis Services 2005 and OWC11 in my own application like Business Intelligence Development Studio. But I don't know, how to work with perspectives in OWC. Can I use an connection string property e.g. Provider=MSOLAP.3; Initial Catalo= Adventure Works DW;CommandText=Adventure Works;....;Perspectives=??? Many thanks for a solution. Reinfried |

Perspectives should just appear like any other cube, so you should be able to substitute a perspective name wherever you would use a cube name. Note - I've not actually tested to see whether this works in OWC, but that's the theory...
