Default OLE DB time out error (HYT00) in AS2005 - 06-26-2006 , 08:29 AM

Hi,

Sometimes my AS2005 server log this event:

OLE DB error: OLE DB or ODBC error: Query timeout expired; HYT00.

when this error appeared for the next 4 to 6hours I see this error (1 time
by hour) and then the error stops and can come back later.

This error is a random one.

For example, yesterday at 8:49 PM the error starts and I have 7 times the
error until 2:49 AM

1 of my cubes use the proactive caching feature. but the silence interval is
10minutes, not 1 hour. so I'm not sure if the error is linked to this
feature.

I'm using AS2005 x64 edition on an Win 2003 x64 server.

any idea of what is the cause?

thanks.

Jerome.

I think you can ignore this -- I believe it is being raised by the
background proactive caching thread that is waiting for a notification from
SQL Server. If no notifications are received for the command timeout period,
then the notification query will timeout and restart.

Thanks,
Akshai

thanks.
so a warning will be enough, not an error.
