Default OLAPScribe: Problem connecting - 07-07-2004 , 01:06 AM

Hello Everyone:

In trying to connect with OLAPScribe I get the error
message "Cannot connect to Server -- ActiveX component can't create object".

I did set the sucurity to the level required with no luck.

Is anyone familiar with the problem?

Regards,
Mario

Can you run Analysis Manager on the same machine? OLAP Scribe requires that
DSO be present. This is the underlying API which Analysis Manager uses.
Unforutnatlely you just cann't run OLAP Scribe on any machine. It needs an
administrative connection to the cube to pickup the meta-data that it will
be displaying.
