Default Olap Server Crash - 12-29-2004 , 06:23 PM

I´m having problems with a cube that uses virtual and changing shared
dimensions.

Its a cube with round about 7 Gb size, I use an incremental process ( with
parallel process.exe) to process the cube and its dimensions (because members
position change frequently), and since i´ve been using also virtual
dimensions the problem occurs.

Each time I incrementally process the dimensions, i see the lazy
aggregations appearing but after a while the server crashes unexpectadly.

I have applied the bug fixes, but it didn´t work, any sugestion beside not
using the virtual dimensions ?

Thanks

There were some recent hotfixes in the area of lazy aggregation. You should
contact PSS and obtain those hotfixes, and if it doesn't help, they will
help you to obtain minidumps for the crashes, and then you can request a new
hotfix.
