Default OLAP Scribe for AS2005 - 02-03-2006 , 08:38 PM

Anyone know if OLAP Scribe has been updated for documenting AS2005
cubes? How about any other tools that can document AS2005 cubes?

Thanks

Sorry. No, it hasn't and the consultant that developed it for AS2K is in a
totally different job now. It comes in source so if someone from the
community is interested in doing it, that would be outstanding!.

AS2005 definitions are XML documents...
so you can do everything you want with this document

also, Microsoft has released a free (unsupported) tool which scan you AS,
SSIS and SQL repository and store the result into a metadata database and
there is a graphical interface to display the dependencies. so you can
easely use this database to generates your Word document. or you can use
reporting services to create your own report instead of a word document.
