Default OLAP over HTTP in SQL 2005 - 07-21-2005 , 11:20 PM






Hello,
with SQL 2000, in order to properly use OLAP over http you needed to use the
Enterprise version of SQL.

Has this been maintained with SQL 2005 AS? Or does the Standard version
support OLAP over HTTP??

Same. You need Enterprise Edition for http access.
It is implemented slightly differently in SQL2K5, so if you are going to set
it up, make sure you read the following white paper:
