I have some olap dts packages that were working fine for
several months. Now all of a sudden i get an error
message:

Process Exit Code 1. The step failed.

I've searched the net for this error message and came up
with nothing. Anyone have any similar problems? Nothing
has changed with the server, it just stopped all of a
sudden. It's a windows 2000 server, with sp3 for sql
server and analysis services. Thanks in advance for any
help!

Many times, the errors being reported up through the DTS OLAP Process task
can be misleading. The error codes can get corrupted as it is reported up
the call stack. The best way to debug the problem is to turn on the
system-wide processing log. See section titled "Processing Log File" in the
Analysis Services Operations Guide
