Default OLAP Dimensions - 03-10-2006 , 05:34 AM

Hi,
Is there a way of getting info about:
TableOwner, Table_name, Table_row from dimension properties?
Thanks
Richard

what do you want to know exactly?

and do you use AS005 or AS2000?

using ADOMD.Net you can retrieve the metadata of your dimensions like:
* name (& uniquename)
* levels
* hierarchies
* descriptions
etc...

search in the BOL (for AS2005) for a complete list of what you can retrieve.

Try using the Analysis Management Objects (AMO). This may provide the info
your are looking for.

Thanks for quick replay.
I have found nice tool DSO-XML from Microsoft (with source files!).
This tool will save all information i wanted into xml file.
Thanks once again,
Richard
