This group is found in Windows 2000 its self. You need to add your user ID to this group on the server. In order to register Analysis servers you need to be either in the OLAP Administrators group or OLAP Users group. "PR" wrote: I am trying to register a server, and I get a message "unable to connect to the registry on the server" or you are not a member of an OLAP administrators group". Check the user groups under Computer Management in the Administration Tools of the Control Panel (Alternatively just right click on 'My Computer' and select 'Manage') You should see a group called 'Olap Administrators'.
