We are using SQL server 2000 Analysis services with Service pack 4.
We have problem displaying a member property in OWC as a calculated member.
Syntax of the calculated member :
[Geo].currentmember.Properties("CUcount")
Geo is a parent-child dimension with CUcount as a member property.
On the OWC report we put another dimension (ex. Method) beside
Geo in the row area and it’s working fine.
The error occurs when I tried to remove the empty rows (using Commands and
Options). Error message:
*** Formula error. Property name is not valid (CUcount) ****
When I moved the CUcount from 1st column to 3rd column, the problem
dissappear !
No problem when trying with Excel.
Is it a known problem with OWC ?

I've seen that error message (or similar) when I've tried to access a member
property at a level in the hierarchy where it is not defined. Could it be
something like that. Try something like this as a calculated member to test
this theory: -

IIF( [Geo].currentmember.Level IS [Geo].[<level where mem prop defined>],
[Geo].currentmember.Properties("CUcount"),
"WRONG LEVEL" )
