Default Office 2007 BI - 11-06-2006 , 07:06 PM

Anyone from the Microsoft community know how OLAP Security will be
enforced inside Excel 2007? We're all familiar with the web-based
environment where IIS enforces NT authentication against a cube, and
this is specially important when implementing dynamic security. How
will this be implemented in Office 2007?

I realize Office 2007 has just been RTM so detailed information is
still hard to
come by. I wanted to share a video presentation of Performance Point
2007,

link here -
http://wm.microsoft.com/ms/presspass...ft060606ms.WMV

...and from watching it I think I found an answer my question.
My take on it is that Performance Point, as a web server, will
encapsulate Office 2007 products like Excel (much like Sharepoint does
with webparts) when it's used as a presentation layer for BI. Halfway
through the video the presenter demonstrates this. Any MSFT insiders if
you can comment if this is correct. Thanks.
