Default notification operation failed when using ROLAP - 03-09-2005 , 03:17 AM

I have a cube which is enabled for real-time update. Sometimes when
rows are added/updated to the fact table for the cube, the subsequent
mdx query to the cube fails with the error:

"Data source provider error A SQL Server notification operation failed
(error code = 2, operation = 'sp_trace_setfilter')"

Any clue why this is happening?

Thanks,
Hitesh

I wonder the existing cache affects. Did you try "Auto Synch Period"
property?

We are reopening connection to analysis service after updations to fact
table are made. The Auto Synch Period property is set to 10,000
milliseconds (10 seconds).
