Default Non Leaf member calculation problem - 12-29-2003 , 08:33 PM

Hello,
I have a parent child dimension called "Item" defined. The way it
shows up in my cube though is odd. I have data at the non leaf level.
I turned on the option to allow non leaf level data. The sum of the
values for "Item A" adds "Item A" data value twice. If I set it to
hide the value it still shows up in the total for "Item A". When I
look at the results it shows values for the non leaf level like this
below (Note: in this example the the data after the minus sign is the
data value for that level in the dimension for the cube)
Dimension Name "Item" list:
Item A
Item A - 10
(Item A Data) 10
Item B - 20
Item C - 30
Item D - 40
Total - 90

How can I have data at a non leaf level "Item A" aggregate correctly
with the other data? Changing my dimension structure it not an option
in this case.
Thanks,
Mike
