I have a big problem. I have SQL Server 2000 and Windows Server 2003 and i can't connect analisys server database in excel (Pivot Table -> olap cubes -> new -> connect) from other computer. When i enter de server name in the box , there is no databases avaliable for that server. What is happening?
obs:when i try to access olap cubes from the server there is no problem. This problem occurs only in client computers
obs2: the server is in the network

try entering the ip address of the server instead of the name.

make sure that client computer's patch is identical to the server..

Thanks mishel but that is still not it. We have being trying to access the server from all sort of ways, including the IP adress and it didnt work. We are also sure that were using the same driver (OLE 8.0) on both, so were still out of luck
