Default no data on 'Data' tab - 10-07-2004 , 09:57 PM





Hi, all:

I just installed MS SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services
(from developer edition) on my PC (XP Pro). Under any
cube ('Sales' for example) from sample FoodMart 2000, I
can open the 'Meta Data' tab see detail, however, I click
the 'Data' tab and see no data there. I got the
message: "Provider cannot be found. It may not be
properly installed.". I reinstalled software again and
again but still have the problem. Any one can help?

Upgrade your version of MDAC.

[To v2.8 if memory serves correctly]

Thank you, Jamie.
I updated MDAC to v2.8, I also tryed OLE DB Provider for ODBC and Jet 4.0
OLE DB Provider, all did not work. Any other thoughts?
