SQL Server 2000+ Analysis Server - both on the same W2k3 Server SQL Server and Windows Authentication - I defined user name and password to connect to SQL Server and it works fine (the user is member of SysAdmin Role) But when i try to connect my workstation to Analysis Server (or even register it) within Analysis Manager I get the only message: Unable to connect to the registry on the server (SERVERNAME) or you are not a member of the OLAP Administration group on this server May be the error occurs because my workstation is member of domain while W2k3 Server isn't? The Domain stuff can always be a issue, however, maybe you should look the connection string on the wks. Also, verify that the user you're using on wks is part of the (local) "OLAP Administrators Group" on your W2k3.
