Default Newbie needs books - 02-20-2004 , 10:40 AM

I've been a SQL Server developer since 6.0 and I now have to learn OLAP w/
SQL Server. Can someone suggest some books for me? It doesnt look like
there's a lot out there. Any help is appreciated.

Some good books on OLAP and Analysis Service

1. Kimball, Ralph und Ross, Margy. "The Data
Warehouse Toolkit: The Complete Guide to Dimensional
Modeling". Wiley & Sons. 2nd ed. 2002

2. Kimball, Ralph, Laura Reeves et.al. "The Data
Warehouse Lifecycle Toolkit : Expert Methods for
Designing, Developing, and Deploying Data Warehouses",
John Wiley & Sons,199

3. Jacobson, Reed. "Microsoft SQL Server 2000
Analysis Services Step by Step", Microsoft Press,200

4. Spofford, George. "MDX Solutions: With Microsoft
SQL Server Analysis Services". Wiley & Sons. New York,
2001.
