Hello,

I'm trying to invoke a report services report from by AS 2005 cube. However
with following settings I get no results

Name: Report action test
Target Type: Cells
Target Object: All Cells
Server Name: jcdevisql2/ReportServer$JCDEVWRHSE02
Report Path: /Cube Reports/RTR
Report Format: HTML5

When I try to invoke in the cube browser I get an empty html page with the
following URL:
http://jcdevisql2/ReportServer$JCDEVWRHSE02/Pages/ReportViewer.aspx?rs:Command=Render&rs:Renderer=HT ML5

I CAN select and run the report OK in the Reporting Services web interface
and the resulting page has the following URL:

http://jcdevisql2/Reports$JCDEVWRHSE02/Pages/Report.aspx?ItemPath=%2fCube+Reports%2fRTR

Any advice on how to set up a new Reporting Action in an AS2005 cube would
be much appreciated.

If you navigate to http://jcdevisql2/ReportServer$JCDEVWRHSE02 you will
get the "raw" reportserver interface and will be able to get a similar
url to the one AS 2005 is trying to build.

I suspect that your settings should be something like:

Name: Report action test
Target Type: Cells
Target Object: All Cells
Server Name: jcdevisql2
Report Path: ReportServer$JCDEVWRHSE02?/Cube Reports/RTR
Report Format: HTML5

Assuming that "Cube Reports" is a report folder and "RTR" is the name of
the report.

The "Sales Reason Comparisons" action in the Adventure Works sample
database has a sample report action that you can use as a reference.
