Default NameColumn - 04-19-2006 , 03:25 PM

I have a Parent-Child attribute that should display a list of tasks. The
attribute key is set to the ID (integer) of the column that holds the parent
relationship. I don't want to display the ID values so I'm using the
NameColumn attribute property to display the task name column from the data
source view. For some reason, the name of the tasks is not showing up. I
only see the ID's.

Hi

If you are using AS2005, you will have the key of the Dimension, and the
Parent of the Key being your Hierachy. You go into the Key properties, and
set the NameColumn property to the Column that contains the name that you
would like to use.

I'm using SSAS 2005.

I don't see the task names when I browse either the dimension or the cube in
VS2005. When I deploy, I don't see the task names when I browse either the
dimension or the cube in SQL Managment Studio.
