NA value after applying time intelligence (YTD) to my Cube:

1. Add Time Dimension table to Dataview.
2. Join the time Dim to the Fact table
3. Create a Time Dimension in SSAS 2005 and set YEAR, QUARTER, MONTH as a
hierarchy
4. Add the Dimension to the Cube based in the Fact table which has only on
Simple count measure
5. Add Time Intelligence to the Cube using the Business Intelligence Wizard
by selecting YTD and the Simple Count Measure
6. Click ok and the SSAS 2005 calculation is created
7. Build and deploy the Cube
8. Open cube
9. Drag the Simple count measure onto the measure area
10. Navigate to the Time dimension and drag the new Year to Date attribute
onto the row fields area.
11. The Simple count measure becomes NA for the YTD attribute.

Why am I getting “NA” and not a running total for the year 2006? I’ve search
google and Microsoft web sites, but had no luck. Am I missing something here?

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
