I'm working with SSAS 2005 and was wondering, is it possible to have
multiple selections for DefaultMember?

It seems like thru the UI you are either able to select ALL or one. Is
there a way to write a MDX expression to select multiple?

simple answer: no
a default member is 1 member only

if you always select 2 members (or more) then group them into an hierarchy
and select this grouped member as the default.
maybe you can setup the default member on a calculated member in a cube, but
I have not tested this.
(you have to change the defaultmember in the cube himself, you can't do it
in the dimension himself)
