Default multiple partitions - 01-15-2004 , 09:31 AM

It is my understanding that you can create user-defined partitions only if you have Enterprise Edition of SQL Server 2000. I have installed Analysis Services from the same cd I installed SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition. The cd itself says "SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition (Personal Edition)". The SQL autorun menu says "SQL Server 2000 Personal Edition". I know we paid for Enterprise Edition when we purchased the product.

Does anyone know what "Personal Edition" is? Did I get shipped the wrong product

thanks in advance for your help.

Nope you do not have the wrong product rather the wrong CD. EE comes with
another CD that has on it Personal Edition.
