Default Multi-language CUBE - 09-13-2006 , 10:28 PM

Is there an easy way to be able to "switch" dimension member values from one
language to another?
I have the translation to all langauges I need in my dimension table.

Many thanks,
Robert

are you using AS2005?
if yes, you have the translation tab on top of the windows (cube, dimension
etc...)

ok
in AS2000 you have to add a property to the level in the dimension.
this property will be linked to the other language column, then in the
language list of this property select the right language and finally the
property type is set to "CAPTION" (if I'm correct) and also hide this
property (visible=false)
(the type of properties can be year, month, account, location etc..., select
caption in the list)

the system will display this property when the language of the user is the
one associated to the property.
