Default MSSQLServerOLAPService - 02-18-2004 , 05:15 AM

Good morning,
when I start the service MSSQLServerOLAPService,
it starts approximately in 1 minute, while before it was faster.
Which could be the possible causes ?
Thanks

My initial guess is that it is building the in-memory structures for
dimensions.
If you have recently increased the number of members in one or more of your
dimensionsm this could account for the longer startup time. Look at the
memory usage sections in the Performance and Operations Guides pointed to
from this page:
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/evaluat...bianalysis.asp

Hope this helps.
