When attempting to create an offline cube file from Excel, I run into an error "Unable to locate resource rll msolap80.rll". This is on the SQLServer2000 host using ExcelXP, AS is also on this machine and all other functions seem to be OK, so I would be surprised if it is an install issue for SQL2K - but I dont know.

I'd appreciate any clues on the meaning and resolution of this.

msolap80.rll is generally found in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Ole Db\Resources\1033" directory
Check whether its present in your system.
