Default MSMDQLOG - 11-09-2004 , 09:54 AM

I am trying to get some accurate usage stats for our OLAP cubes. I have
amened the properties of the analysis server to log every query rather than 1
in 10.

On querying the above database i see multiple identical rows i.e. the exact
same query has been run upto 30 times in the same second! How can this be!!!

The client tool we are using is ProClarity 5.3

Any Ideas?

I would suggest that you look at the SSAS Operations Guide where we talk
about the query log. It is important that you understand that the query log
has really only ONE use in life -- and that is to be used as data input for
usage-based optimization. You must be extremely careful not to read too much
into what and when values are recorded.
See:

As part of your tests you should also log the client-side MDX statements.
See BOL under the topic: "Log File Property"
