Default MSAS 2000 installed after MSAS 2005 installed error MSOLAP.dll - 11-03-2005 , 12:37 PM

I had MSAS 20005 installed on a WIN2003Server machine, and then installed
MSAS 2000 second. It seems as thought the MS 2000 cubes cannot be accessed
outside of Analysis Manager. I tried to migrate my OLAP cube db to MSAS
2005, but it cannot access the MSAS 2000 instance, and another tool I have to
Query the MSAS 2000 cubes cannot access them either. I recieve an error
about the MSOLAP.dll. I tried to unregester it, and that did work, so I
tried to re-register it, and that did not work as well. Is there anyway to
fix this problem other than an uninstall\reinstall?

Try this -- first register msolap80.dll. Then register msolap90.dll.

Thanks,
Akshai

Hi everyone

I want to upload MSAS to my webserver and can do it successfully.

However, although the CSS and HTML offline files get transfered to the
online server and successfully change basic images and link colors
ect...the changes of module positions and layout done on my MSAS desktop
site don't show up on my online mambo installation.

For example if my main menu (as a module ) is positioned on the right
position in my MSAS desktop offline site, when I publish it online it goes
back to it's default left position...

Is there a way around this?

Is it possible to make a mambo website offline and publish it online and get
a carbon copy with layout, email settings, positions and all to the
webserver? If so, how can it be done?

Thanks,
Bruno
