Default MOVING CUBE FROM "C" TO "D" - 10-16-2003 , 08:53 AM

What is the step-by-step process to move all my production
cubes from the "C" drive to
the "D" drive?

Thanks for any help.

shut down Analysis Services.

copy the entire contents of the DATA folder
(C:\Program Files\Microsoft Analysis Services\Data) to the
new drive (D:\)

Start Analysis Services

change the properties of the Analysis Server
to point to the new location.(Open Analysis Manager ->
Right Click on the Server Name -> Properties -> General
Tab -> Change the entries of Data Folder and Temporary
file Folder accordingly to reflect your new location)

Restart Analysis Services.

Delete the Data Folder from C:\

HTH.

Cheers,
Sanka
