I need to move Analysis Services files located in default
initial installation location (E:\Program Files\Microsoft
Analysis Services\Data\RDB\Data) to a new drive because
of space issues. Can you please outline the steps for
doing so and any issues to be aware of?

Hi,

Right Click on the Database name, In the General Tab, you
can find the path to Data Folder and Temporary File
Folder. (It should be pointing to E:\Program
Files\Microsoft Analysis Services\Data)

Copy the contents of the "E:\Program Files\Microsoft
Analysis Services\Data" to "D:\Microsoft Analysis
Services\Data" (or your destination folder where you have
lot of space)

Change the path information for Data Folder and Temporary
File Folder in the General Properties of the Database to
point to "D:\Microsoft Analysis Services\Data" (or your
destination folder).

Restart your MS SQL OLAP Services.
