I cannot get the MMC to sucessfully connect to a remove sql server with AS
on it. It always errors on connect.

I can login directly to the machine and then use its AS mmc fine.

I have AS sp3 + latest hotfix.

Did you also install sp3 on the AS manager client machine?

What is the exact error that you see?
