Default Mixing time dependent and time-independent facts in the same cube. - 10-20-2003 , 10:17 PM

Hi,

One of the dimensions in my cube is time.
How can I present two facts in my cube,
- one that is time dependent (like current month activity)
- one that is not time dependent (like total budget)

Thanks for any help.

Hi,

According to my understanding of your issue - we don't need to store the aggregated values in the Fact Table (time Independent Like Total Budget etc..). The Cube will automatically calculate those values.

We will need to include only the time dependent values in the Fact table.

Cheers,
Sanka
