Hi,
I have a typical sales cube ie. product/date/location etc. and would like to
be able to show not just where a sale occurred but also where one didn't.

I can define a view quite easily and build a cube containing all possible
combinations of product/date/location, with a zero entered where a sale
didn't occur. The only problem with this is that the resultant cube is
ENORMOUS - 0.5 BILLION elements.

Ideally I would like to create a cube including only elements where sales
have occurred and then have the client (in my case Excel) show the "missing"
elements.

Anyone know how to acheive this using Excel???

Thanks,
Peter.

Excel always hides Empty Row and/or Columns
You can't change this behavior (Excel 2002 and before)
You could use Office Web Components instead. Default behavior is still to hide empties,
but you change this. (Commands and Options, Report tab)
