Default Migration using oracle as data source - 03-09-2006 , 03:58 PM

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to migrate databases from sql2000 to sql2005, using migrate
database..." option. First, I used a small database and it worked well,
having as data source oracle 9i or sqlserver 2000.
After I've tried more complex ones. The oracle one didn't make it. I receive
a syntax error at the sql statement used to process. I converted it to
sqlserver, and then I was able to migrate to 2005 succesfully.
For me, seems that working with oracle is not working well.
Does anybody have the same feeling or have any similar experience? Any clues
to solve this?

Thanks,
Miriam

Hi !
The error happens during migration (where the wizard cannot analyze the SQL
fragments from AS2000 objects) or the migration wizard succeeds, but you get
an error during processing on AS2005 ?
What is the error text ?

Thank you,
Adrian.
