Am a MDX newbie, and having some problems understanding how to apply
rollups.
I Hv a Product Dimension and would like to create custom Rollups to
the measures excluding certain products.

Would appreciate any help regarding this.

Depending on whether the custom rollup formula is the same for all products
or not - you can either use custom members defined only on the products that
you care about or use custom rollup formula which excludes the products that
you don't care about.
