Default MDDataSet Question - 10-07-2005 , 08:08 AM

Hello.

I have two web servers with XMLA1.1.

Server A
Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server
5.0.2195 Service Pack 4 compilação 2195

Server B
Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server
5.0.2195 Service Pack 4 compilação 2195

Everything works fine but one server (B) returns the MDDataSet with
brackets in the name property as follow.

Server A
<HierarchyInfo name="Measures">

Server B
<HierarchyInfo name="[Measures]">

Why this happens? There is a place where I set this configuration? It's a
regional configurarion?

Thanks in advance.

Can you check the version of the msolap80.dll installed on the two machines? I believe this was a fix to return the hierarchy unique name instead of the dimension name in the msolap80 provider.

Thanks,
Akshai

Akshai.

Server A: Version 8.0.760.0

Server B: Version 8.0.2039.0

I guess I need to ask my support to install the Analysis Services SP4
on Server A.

Thanks for your help.
