Hi,

I have an sql2003sp3a , win 2003 on an dual xeon 3.6, 4 G ram.

I have one olap db with around 30 cubes and virtual cubes. . I have also
200+ roles in the database. Adding / changing a role takes approx 10 min.
but I heard that this is "normal" for such an amount of dso objects...


My next problem is that somehow when I try to add/remove/change an database
role I get an error like "Security error on cube XXXX" ( the message is in
german this is the approx. translation). This doesn't depend on wich role i
make the changes. I had this problem a week ago and I was only able to
solve-it by restoring an old backup.


Anyone have an ideea ?
