Which machine's Memory/CPU/other resources are used when remotely processing
if I remotely register OLAP server A using Analysis Manager on machine B and
start processing?

The "invoking" of processing is done by an application, e.g. Analysis
Manager, which may be remote. To do this you must have access to the OLAP
repository for the Analysis server (by default this is stored in a MS Access
Jet database (msmdrep.mdb) pointed to by the remote connection string (after
you've registered the server, right click on the server and select "Edit
Connection String" menu option -- it is shown to you).

The actual processing activity is done by the Analysis server itself. There
is an message sent from the DSO application, e.g. Analysis Manager, to the
Analysis server to tell it to do the processing.
