Hi, We store our analysis services (2000 sp4) repository in SQL Server. The OLAP Repository database got accidentally dropped.. We don't have a backup for this. I reset the OLAP repository connection string to another SQL Server database and tried to restore from an OLAP archive. It failed in the end indicating that 'there is already a repository file', on the very last step of the restore. What can I do here? Thanks for your help Murthy |

Hi Jéjé I deleted the files in DATA folder as you suggested and tried to restore from Archive. I am getting this error: Expected error during restore. Invalid Object Name 'OlapObjects' thanks Murthy "Jéjé" wrote: so you have a .CAB archive file. try to delete the content of the DATA folder which contain the data files of your cubes. then restore the .CAB does the new repository database is empty?
