Default Local cub file in Excel 2000/XP - 04-19-2004 , 01:09 PM

Hi,

I created a local cub file that appears to only be
accessible via Excel XP through my co-workers. Users who
attempt to open it on Excel 2000 don't get anywhere. All
attempts have been made here at work.

I can not find an option when selecting "Offline OLAP" in
Excel XP to make a cub file visible in previous versions
of Excel. The wizard pretty much just creates the file
and that's it.

I downloaded the ptssetup.zip file from MS website and
when the htm file is loaded on the machines running Excel
2000, it's states that Pivot Table Services is installed.

Is it possible to view a local cub file created in XP in
2000? If so, what am I doing wrong, or what do I need to
do?

Thanks.
