Default Large log file in system32 - 11-22-2006 , 01:05 PM

Hello,

Hopefully someone can help me track down what is causing this... a few times
in the past, my OLAP server has run out of disk space on C. After looking
around on it, I always end up finding the following file:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AGGPERFLOG.TXT
This file is currently 4.5gb and growing... when the C drive runs out of
space, as expected, everything runs slowly.

I've run filemon and found that msmdsrv.exe is reading and writing to the
file. I've also run a hex editor on it to see whats in it but didn't really
find anything useful in there.

Can someone tell me what this file is? Why its growing to such a large
size? If possible, how can I move it off my system drive onto another drive
that I can size appropriately?

Any help would be apprciated... if this was posted already I apologize but I
searched for the filename and did not find it anywhere in the newsgroups.
