When I first install SQL Server 2000, Analysis Services, and SP3a I am
able to connect fine. After that point I am unable to connect to the
Analysis Server every time after. So, it works once and never again.

The error that I get is that I am "Unable to Connect to the registry
on the server or you are not a member of the Olap Administrators
Group"

I am a member of the Olap Administrators Group and I am able to access
the registry.

Any information regarding the problem would be very appreciated. I am
out of ideas.

I would like to know what is your current OS win XP? if yes. Have you
install analysis service pack 3 ?

Does your user have the right privileges to acces the file msmdrep.mdb on
the directory "C:\Program iles\Microsoft Analysis Services\Bin" on the
server?
If he doesn't you've got this error message.

Add to your user all the security rights to "C:\Program
files\Microsoft Analysis Services\Bin"
and also on the file msmdrep.mdb and it will work. Got the same
problem and it works fine now.
