Hi,

I've created OLAP cubes on a PC equipped with SQL Server 2005 and I am
trying to access these cubes from Excel 2002 (SP3) running on another PC.

When I define the connection from the excel 'external data menu', I then get
an error message saying: "An error was encountered in the transport layer".

Note that I previously installed the pre requirements 'msXml6' and
'ASOLEDB9'.

Does anyone know how to properly access the SQL Server 2005 cubes from Excel
2002?
