Hi, I have a question regarding the configuration for accessing a cube on the
web in the SQL 2000 environment. I followed the instruction from tutorial for
its analysis service. I created a working Olap database in the Analysis
Manager... Then I tried to access it from a excel. When I tried to get the
external data, my Olap database is not in the Olap cubes list, But, the
foodmarket Olap database is in the list, it is configured during installation
for the tutorial. I would be appreciated for any hint. Thanks.

I found the answer myself. When expsoing a cube in the intranet, the
accessing security must be much more lower. After I did so, the OLap
database is visible in the list in a excel client. Thanks
