Default Invalid Cubename - 10-05-2005 , 02:56 PM

I use OWC 11 pivot table to show data extracted from OLAP.

One of my users is receiving 'The query could not be processed. The cubename
'xxxx' is invalid.' on my webpage using OWC11 pivot table, while everybody
else are okay.

This message comes up when he just comes to the page and before he can even
see the field list displayed. So the message seems to be related to the
connection from his machine (using NT Authentication) to the cube on the
Analysis Server. But he didn't have problem in the past.

The database server and IIS 5.0 server are all in the same machine.

Can someone help? Thanks.

OWC is an ActiveX control that runs on the client machine. As such it is
dependant on the PTS installed on the client. Most likely something has
happened on that client's machine to upset PTS. Running the version of
PTSFull.exe from the SP that you have installed on the server might fix
the issue. (a new version of PTS has been included with each SP of AS so
it is important to get the matching version)
