Has anyone entered MDX directly into Intelligent Apps and have it
query AS server and return the results? If so, can you give me some
details how you do it ? What I am trying to do is to build my own
report layout.

If this is IA4 then if you bring up the report layout, and then click
on the cube icon on the toolbar you should find the custom MDX screen.
