Default "Instr" equvivalent in MDX - (64 bit) - 06-13-2005 , 10:03 PM

Hi,

We are planning to go into production with 64-bit Analysis Services. We have
written lot of MDX Expressions in 32 bit using the VBA function "Instr".
Unfortunately VBA functions are not supported on 64 bit.

Can anyone please specify an eqvivalent MDX function to "Instr" that works
in 64 bit Analysis Services?

Thanks in advance,

Sam.

Yes, it's true (see

for more details), but I've not seen a complete list of exactly which
functions have been implemented. Is someone from the dev team reading? This
really needs to be documented publicly.

I will not be providing an answer but I have a similiar request regarding
iserror() function.
I've read somwhere that SP4 integrate some of the VBA functions into MDX,
Can anybody say if this is true and if yes where can we have a list of those
functions.
Thank you

The following functions were implemented natively, but I don't think that it
means that they can be used in 64-bit edition.

ABS, ROUND, CSTR, CDATE, INT
