Default Incremental Build Errors - 05-16-2005 , 06:03 AM

Hi,

I am getting a "Object Does not exist" error when I incrementally build a
cube with an incremental dimension build.

I currently empty and repopulate all fact and dimension tables each day with
only the new data that isn't in the cubes already. Is this correct or is it
a case that my Dimension Fact tables require all dimension values to be
present even if I am doing an incremental build.

If this error is being generated by another issue, then an help would be
most appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Tony

I worked it out for myself eventually.

The issue arose because I had some Virtual measures in my cube and the
incremental build didnt like them. The issue can be resolved by either
upgrading to sp4 or by converting the virtual dimensions to full dimensions.
