Default Improving performance - 06-02-2004 , 02:11 AM

Greetings,

I'm in condition, where we don't have powerful hardware, and yet
we need to process loads of data using Cubes.

My question would be, which of these is most loaded when desigining
and processing cubes (post design doesn't matter, since they get
moved to powerful hardware):

Workstation
SQL server machine
Analysis services macine

Which of these gets biggest load and should be improved most?

Thank you.

Yes, but it only talks about AS machine - and I'm not sure if AS
machine is the bottleneck here. Datasource is located on a different
machine, running SQL Server.
